This series was published from 1999-2000, kinda old but since it' about Shinsengumi, so it's worth to read (and buy).
The story focused on Hijikata and Souji' relationship, but other pairings has enough portion for their own story too.

Souji has adored and loved Hijikata since he was little and always shows his feeling towards him everytime he has the opportunity which usually irritated Hijikata and ended up hitting Souji in the head. But everyone knows that Hijikata also cares for him the most too though he doesn't want to admit it. And eventually because a small incident that happened when Hijikata and Souji was in a mission, Hijikata realized that he always believed that Souji would never leave his side without thinking of what could happen to Souji, thus he deciced that he must do something. But will Souji ready to accept his Hijikata-san' sudden change of feeling towards him?

Aside Hijikata and Souji, there are side stories involved Kondou and Yamanami, Serizawa with Niimi, and Saitou with his one-sided love(s) (or is it?). In addition, there's something cute (if it can be considered cute ^^;) about Serizawa and Niimi. Niimi is a cold unsociable person who had lived only for his sword but Serizawa, who love beautiful people, succesfully made Niimi gave his love to him in change that Serizawa will only love Niimi forever. So, everytime Serizawa tried to do something on the others (especially Souji), he'd threaten him using his katana with his cold expression and attitude to remind Serizawa of his promise ^^; (Serizawa : *when he failed to ask Souji go out alone with him, instead, Souji brought the entire Shinsegumi members with him* Iya, I'm with Okita-kun alone...*stopped coz feels something behind him* ; Niimi : *while putting his katana near Serizawa' neck with his cold expression as usual* What? Only me? I'm so happy, Seri-chan; Serizawa : Nishiki...is scary..) .

Nabako' art in here isn't as sharp as her newest works such as "After 5 wa Kiss no Ame" and "Kiss wa Ichinichi ni Sandou Made?!" but it's still pretty nonetheless, and her chibi art is really cute as always too.
